these are in no specific order.
1. quarters
these are depleted disappointingly quickly. they also cost money, a thing foreign to most college students
2. mail
there is nothing like opening up your mailbox and seeing nothing. (sigh). there is nothing like opening your mailbox for the 2nd time and seeing A PACKAGE SLIP!!! that is actually for your mailbox partner. (grrr)There's nothing like opening your mailbox the 3rd time in one week and seeing a letter. and its actually for YOU!! (hooray!)
3. snack food
yummmmmmmmmy crunchy companions on the lonely road of homework
4. sleep
its probably not possible, but if you find a way, let me know
5. a hug
can't get enough!
6. tickets to somewhere. preferably off-campus
"wait! look at that! its... its civilization! its real!!"
7. other things specific to their situation
if someone you know is taking a rodeo class, a horse might be an appropriate gift

ReplyDeletehahaha...... you make me laugh, but this is soooo true!! One thing that I would add is that even if a student is living in a close proximity to home, they still like letters and care packages every once in a while :)
