yesterday i was hanging out by the counter when my dad came and asked me to plug something in. i did so with no notice of what that "something" i was plugging in was. when i finally looked again, i did a double take. there was my dad, standing next to me, pointing a hair dryer into the freezer, saying "nope. cord's not long enough." i burst out laughing. what on EARTH could he be doing?!?! it now makes sense, however. our ice maker in the freezer hasn't been working, and my dad thought it was because part of it was frozen over... he was trying to melt it. so it DID have a logical explanation. all the same, it did appear quite ridiculous at first. it still makes me smile. they were trying it again today when i took this picture. unfortunately, the ice maker is still broken.

How do you do the little side statement things? have a good day. we should watch the bourne two so we can watch three. and we need to eat snickerdoodles before we all go off into the world. i won't be able to bake cookies much at college. i'll be getting fat on cafeteria food. like chocolate milk. bye bye.
